Derbion Shopping Centre
The go to place when shopping in Derby! The recently renamed Derbion Shopping Centre boasts a selection of shops across two floors, a cinema as well as mini golf and bowling. Many well-known high street brands have a store set up in the centre such as M&S, Next, WHSmith and more. The centre provides hours of potential shopping time, with a wide variety of cafes, restaurants and a food court to take a break at. There is something to appeal to everyone’s tastes. You’re sure to need more than one trip to cover it all.
Derby Market Hall
Derby Market Hall is a historic Victorian building which first opened in 1866, housing multiple stalls and small local businesses. Due to renovations, sadly the market will be closing in June, but the shop owners will be relocating to the Eagle Market. The Eagle Market already boasts a selection of stalls from fabric to fresh produce, books, pet supplies, heel repairs and anything else you can think of. The market is also adjacent to the Derbion centre which makes it easy to access.
Iron Gate and the Cathedral Quarter
A short walk down from the Derbion Centre and you will find yourself in Derby Cathedral Quarter. The Cathedral Quarter offers a range of boutique shops, restaurants, bars, and more. Be sure to check out Iron Gate as the area offers a range of chic shops and places to purchase unique gifts, in addition to pubs and bars which stock locally brewed beverages and a selection of tasty food.
